The UK's most exciting new orchestra makes it's Southbank Centre debut conducted by Artisitic Director Scott Ellaway and with pianist sensation Alexander Melnikov.
The concert opens with the Overture from composer Bedrich Smetana's comic opera The Bartered Bride, followed by one of the most popular piano concertos, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto no.1. In the second half, the Orchestra perfom excerpts from Prokofiev's magnificent ballet score Romeo and Juliet.
